More than 420 Police staff from throughout the country descended on Whangārei for the 2024 Police Sport Winter Games in August.

Police staff from throughout the country gathered in Whangārei last month to take part in the Police Association-sponsored Police Sport Winter Games. More than 420 people participated in the 10 sports on offer. Here are the final results from the three-day event.

Rugby

1st – Northland, 14 points
2nd – Counties Manukau, 8 points
3rd – Wellington, 5 points
4th – Bay of Plenty, 3 points.
Northland won the Challenge Cup and the Tournament Cup.
